His innovative and evocative playing and compositions, attracting to his side the likes of Mia Doi Todd, Airto Moreira and Aloe Blacc. Nascimento features the exquisite saxophonist Sam Gendel in nearly all his performances, and on their heartfelt duo album, Sul. Drummer/percussionist Tiki Pasillas will join Nascimento and Gendel at Bluewhale.
